That’s why we have three levels here at Shapes, to help you take back control and really motivate yourself to sculpt your body shape to the one you’ve always wanted in life.
It’s your fitness and they’re your goals, so we’ll help to motivate and encourage you at every step of the way. Whether that’s when you’re in the gym, getting sweaty in one of the group exercise sessions, or in a coaching session with one of our personal trainers.
Gold membership is for individuals who have enough motivation not to need a PT every week, but just don’t have the knowledge to write a bespoke training program to get them to the body shape they want.

If you’re looking to workout on your own in the gym, in your own time, but want the help and advice from an experienced fitness professional who writes a bespoke training session plan for the month then it’s right for you.
You also have the opportunity to come to any of the group exercise sessions that we have.
But, that’s not all. You also get access to our messaging app so that if you have any questions about your workout or nutrition then you can ask your fitness coach.

When and how am I billed?
After paying a £50 joining fee, your monthly membership is automatically debited from your account by direct debit.
If you choose to pay the year in full then your joining fee is waived and we apply a further discount.
What type of people are members?
We’re not a commercial gym nor are we the cheapest.
This means that we attract individuals, like you, from around the Ribble Valley, who are respectful and want a quiet and comfortable place to workout and work towards their fitness goals.
Are there other types of membership?
Yes. If you feel that you don’t fit into one of the above packages then get in touch.
We have a range of options for couples, families, students, daytime only members, and corporate clients. Above we’ve included the most popular ones that people choose.
What are the Group Fitness prices?
If you choose our silver or gold memberships then all of our group exercise sessions are included in your monthly fee (apart from ad hoc specialist sessions that are paid in advance).
If you’re on our bronze membership then group exercise sessions start at £7pp PAYG, so if you’re coming to at least once a week then it might be worth thinking about an upgrade.
All Group Exercise Sessions
Having access to the gym at any time is included in all of our memberships at Shapes. With Gold you can come to any of our group exercise sessions and you have priority over other members when the classes are busy.
Group exercise is a great way to increase your activity levels to ensure you’re getting the best value from your membership.
We have a wide range of different sessions to help you burn fat, meet other people who have similar goals, and chat with some of the team about how you can sculpt your body faster.
Personal Training (Gold)
Doing your own thing at a gym near you can be great, but constantly doing the same exercises can lead to you becoming stagnant and not moving forward towards your goals.
That’s where having a training session with a fitness professional helps.
Our personal training service at the gym (located at Brockhall Village) includes a session with a PT once a month to go over what you’ve done and how we can move you forward to where you want to be.
We will guide you on what points to improve and write your gym training program to help you achieve more and get there sooner.
Help and Guidance (Gold)
Your assigned local personal trainer is on hand to offer help and guidance on anything you’re struggling with or have questions about. And it’s all easy to do through our PT app that you can download to your phone or tablet.
Eating the right foods and understanding what you’re eating is also important, which is why you also get access to all of our nutritional and fat loss seminars we deliver at Shapes.
These will help you understand and then overcome any past struggles with not using your gym membership fully.
